Dozens and columns are bets to twelve numbers. The probability of winning a dozen bet is 32.34%, there is a 67.57% chance of losing. The probability of winning at least once in two spins is 54.35% and in twelve spins is 99%. This means that if we bet to dozens or columns, we can win (with 99% probability) at least once every 12 spins. This 12 number is the theoretical delay of dozens. It can be seen in the following table and figure.
According to our calculations, the same dozen appears twice consecutively between 7 and 42 minutes. Between one hour to 7 hours of play at roulette, we can observe 4 consecutive repetitions of the same dozen.
10 consecutive numbers of the same dozen can appear at least every 42 days, almost once a month!
Roulette delay in lines
Let’s continue with my favorite bet, the lines (I bet a lot to lines). Winning a line bet involves a probability of 16.22% (83.78% of loss). With a delay of 4 spins there is a probability of winning of 50.72% and when the delay is 26 spins, the probability of winning comes up to 99%.
A line will appear twice consecutively between 30 minutes and three hours. The appearance of the same line three consecutive times can occur up to once per hour. Although very unlikely, a line may appear up to 5 consecutive times every four days.
Roulette delay in corner
In the case of the corner, winning involves 10.8% on every roulette spin. To ensure minimum a 55% probability to win, you need to wait a 7 spin delay, however, our calculations estimates that 99% of probability to win only gets up after 50 roulette spins.
The same corner can appear twice consecutively between one hour to 8 hours. For the 3 consecutive appearance, it is required between 11 hours and 3 days. Finally, every 4 days may appear the same corner 4 consecutive times.
From here, the results refers to very long roulette games that seems impossible for anyone to follow them live. However it is still very useful information.
Roulette delay in Street
The street has a 8.11% chance to win, its theoretical delay with 57% of probability is 10 roulette spins, but to be sure (99%) a delay of up to 55 spins is estimated.
The street may appear twice between every 2 and 12 hours. The appearance of the same street more than three consecutive times requires from 1 to 75 days.
Roulette delay in Split
The probability of winning with a split is 5.41%. With 15 spins of delay the winning probability is 56.55% and 99% if the delay is 90 roulette spins.
A split can be repeated between every 5 hours and 1 day. A split may appear three consecutive times every 4 days minimum. Repeating a split more than 4 consecutive times is very unlikely however could occur once every 70 days.
Roulette delay in Straight-up
A bet on a single number implies a probability of winning of 2.70%. With a 25 spins delay, the probability of winning is increased up to 50% and if the delay is 170 spins, then the probability of winning is 99%.
Every 16 hours, a straight-up appears two consecutive times. Every 24 days a straight-up appears three consecutive times. The probability of a straight-up to repeat 4 consecutive times is minimal, although this can happen every 891 days.
